Founded in August 2017, RetailEye is a rising AI unicorn dedicated to enabling retail with AI. By applying AI, AIOT, and big data, RetailEye enhances retail inspections, displays, and the digitization of offline retail.

RetailEye stands out with its SKU-recognition technology, achieving an accuracy rate of over 97% across all scenarios without requiring manual verification. This high level of accuracy is thanks to its advanced algorithms. Once data is generated in seconds, RetailEye’s proprietary Business Rule Engine analyzes it, uncovering the informational blind spots typically found in traditional retail execution.

With businesses expanding to 52 countries, including the UK, the US, Russia, Mexico, and more, RetailEye partners with renowned international enterprises such as Coca-Cola, Swire Coca-Cola, AB InBev, Danone, Nielsen, Nongfu Spring, Ipsos, Vitasoy, Abbott, Nestle, and Pernod Ricard.

Guided by the technology-driven investment approach in Consumption, Meridian Capital Asia is delighted to have supported RetailEye’s angel round financing in 2018.

With an unwavering commitment to advancing AI capabilities, RetailEye is positioned as a world leader in retail digitalization.

At the end of May, RetailEye had the honor of presenting its latest advancements in multidimensional visual algorithms and consumer insight technologies to James Quincey, Chairman and CEO of Coca-Cola; Patrick Healy, Chair of Swire Coca-Cola; Su Wei, President of Swire Coca-Cola; and Dang Jian, CEO of Swire Coca-Cola China.

The demonstration showcased RetailEye’s cutting-edge visual algorithmic capabilities, which enable rapid 3D modeling of stores, detailing spatial layouts and sales categories by area, monitoring foot traffic patterns, and tracking product purchases at specific points of sale. By analyzing factors such as location, product, display, and time, these technologies help optimize product sales.

RetailEye’s technologies have transitioned from theoretical research to real-world applications in market analysis and product development. Their computer vision capabilities are now deployed in over 4 million stores across China and 52 countries worldwide. Additionally, their all-scenario sales activation abilities are utilized in nearly a thousand stores, helping partners excel in a highly competitive market.
